Active user (“green”

    Install the application

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.

    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace.The Manage add-ons screen loads.

    3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.

    4. Locate Automated User Cleanup & Deactivation for Jira via search.The appropriate app version appears in the search results.

    5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Automated User Cleanup & Deactivation for Deactivatorfor Jira.You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Automated User Cleanup & Deactivation for Jira begins to download.

    6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.

    7. Click Apply license.If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.

    Configure the application

    Expand the menu “Automated User Cleanup and Deactivator”, then select Configure.

    The objective of the dashboard is to give you instant insight into your user base’s activity patterns.

    The dashboard visualize user activity and give recommendations of how to optimize license usage.

    The Dashboard graph is created using default values but willl be automatically updated over time as the user base changes.

    The horisontal bar in the middle of the dashboard gives an instant visual overview of the activity levels for the company’s users, categorised in active (green), inactive (red), protected from cleanup( blue) and low usage (yellow).
