Install the applicationLog into your Jira instance as an admin. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace.The Manage add-ons screen loads. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page. Locate Automated User Cleanup & Deactivation for Jira via search.The appropriate app version appears in the search results. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Automated User Cleanup & Deactivation for Jira.You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Automated User Cleanup & Deactivation for Jira begins to download. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian. Click Apply license.If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.
Activate the applicationExpand the menu “Automated User Cleanup and Deactivator”, then select Configure. The application Dashboard will be launched. The application DashboardThe objective of the dashboard is to give you instant insight into you user base’s activity patterns. The dashboard visualize user activity and give recommendations of how to optimize license usage. The horisontal bar in the middle of the dashboard gives an instant visual overview of the activity levels for the company’s users, categorised in active (green), inactive (red), protected (blue) and low usage (yellow). If you don’t define company-specific values the graph is created using default values. The default values are: Active user (“green”): last activity registered within the past 15 days Inactive user (“red”): last activity registered at least 30 days ago Low usage user (“yellow”): last activity registered between 15 and 30 days ago
